About CODEP
CODEP welcome feedback on this site - please contact us with any comments.
What is CODEP?
CODEP, the Conflict, Development and Peace network, was founded in the UK in
1993, as a multi-disciplinary forum for academics, organisations and practitioners involved in exploring the causes of conflict and its
impact on people’s lives. It was believed that sharing ideas about
policy and practice would help members challenge thinking on
international responses to conflict and contribute to the development of
good practice.
The
aim of the network is to help reduce
violent conflict and support those worst affected by it through the
improvement of policy and practice in conflict, development and peace
work carried out by UK NGOs, academic institutions, consultants and
government departments by the facilitation of learning and development
by providing a forum for the sharing of knowledge, skills, experience
and information.
CODEP is a registered charity (No. 1078128) and is a registered company in
England (No. 3753457).
